Our assistant coach interviews continue today with the New York Liberty’s Monique Ambers

If you have been following our site, then you have seen a number of assistant coach interviews. The latest in our series of interviews comes from New York assistant coach Monique Ambers ahead of today’s game against the Atlanta Dream. Coach Ambers rejoins head coach John Whisenant this season after coaching with him in Sacramento where the Monarchs won the 2005 WNBA Championship and were the 2006 finalists.

New York beat Atlanta on June 5th 94-88 in overtime. Pierson led the Liberty with a game high 25 points on 11-17 shooting, while Pondexter dished out 11 assists.

 

On adjusting to a new coach and GM
